This guest piano recital at Matthew's alma mater will feature the work of five Black composers, particularly featuring compositions themed around Biblical elements. Pieces written by Florence Price, Margaret Bonds, Nathaniel Dett, James Lee III, and Matthew Kimbley will be presented.
